The Artwork of GENTLE Endo™

Creating images as a way of understanding the body.

The artwork throughout GENTLE Endo™ was created by founder Emily using traditional media including watercolor, graphite, charcoal, pastel, and mixed media.

What began as a creative practice gradually became part of a healing practice.

Living with Endometriosis often requires developing a different relationship with the body—one built on observation, curiosity, patience, and listening. Art became a way to explore those relationships when words felt insufficient.

Many of the pieces created for GENTLE Endo™ are inspired by anatomy, movement, nature, and the lived experience of navigating a chronic condition. Rather than focusing on pathology alone, the work seeks to create space for reflection, understanding, and connection.

The educational artwork throughout this site was created as an extension of that philosophy: learning about the body not only through information, but through attention.

“During my own healing journey, art became a place to slow down. Creating offered an opportunity to observe rather than react, to become curious rather than fearful, and to reconnect with my body through creativity and presence.

While art is not a treatment, it became an important part of my personal healing experience and continues to influence the way I approach education, movement, and care.”
